Gael Fraiteur is the founder, president, and lead engineer of PostSharp Technologies, a privately owned company specializing in code generation and analysis frameworks for .NET. He created PostSharp in 2004, making it the most successful framework for aspect-oriented programming in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. Since 2020, he has been developing Metalama, a next-generation metaprogramming framework for C# built on Roslyn.

A widely recognized expert in compiler technologies and the business of software development tools, Gael has over 25 years of experience in software development. He started programming at age 11 and transitioned to .NET in 2002. PostSharp Technologies is fully bootstrapped, relying entirely on revenue from license sales without venture capital or external funding. Originally from Belgium, Gael has been based in the Prague region of the Czech Republic since 2001.
