Gaël Duval is a tech entrepreneur well-known for his contributions in the tech industry. In July 1998, he created Mandrake Linux, later evolving into Mandriva Linux. Duval then founded Ulteo, later acquired by AZNetwork group. In 2016, he co-founded NFactory.io, an incubator-accelerator. Later he launched the privacy-focused /e/ mobile operating system and the E Foundation, dedicated to its maintenance.
